Art comes in many forms, and the forms on display in the “Wearable Art” exhibition at Copley Place during this fall’s Fashion Week in Boston are both innovative and attractive.
The exhibition presents original, non-textile dresses created by design students at Massachusetts College of Art and Design. It showcases ensembles made from unconventional materials, including coffee straws, soda cans and plastic spoons.
Designers include Breanna Budryk, Olena Cook, Nicole Dupuis, Cassandra Gossett, Kathryn Higham, Sylvia Lund, Elle Mackey, Andrea-Lijoy Shields and Jessica Soter, with senior collections by Emelie Bergh and Erin Robertson.
The exhibition closes Saturday, October 17.
